Workshops and Lessons
You’ll be as busy as you like with music and dance workshops, lessons and jams. Choose the dance floor or play the instruments you bring. Band members and callers will be leading workshops and jams. Private music lessons are available upon request.
We will soon have a sample schedule of workshops
For Musicians
Even if you don’t dance, you’ll love what the music end of this weekend has to offer…It’s 4 days and 3 nights of playing, learning, sharing, jamming, eating, sleeping, star gazing.
Jams will be lead by the national musician, Debbie Jackson and Brad Battey and members of the Fifth Reel Band.
Private or small group lessons will also be available from the national musicians. Sign-ups for these lessons will be available upon your arrival.
For all, there are comfy chairs to snuggle into, a roaring fireplace to gaze into, interesting people to chat with, and of course yummy food and sleep. You’ve never seen so many stars as here on a crisp, clear night.
Traditional Waltz Dance Workshop
Traditional waltz couple dancing is always a lovely interlude. Bob Warden will teach beginning and intermediate waltzing.

What better place for a taste of country western dancing than a ranch! Seasoned country western dance instructors Connie Wright and Lee Dodge will teach cowboy two-step, and cowboy cha-cha.
Connie and Lee have both been dancing longer than they can remember, and hope to share some fun moves with you.
Clogging Workshop
Always wanted to tap or stomp out rhythms with your feet? This clogging workshop will get you started. No special shoes needed.
International Dancing
Ron Young will teach international dances from around the world. Ron is a dance collector and historian in addition to being a seasoned dance caller.
