We’re organizing our 2027 SCHEDULE still – and looking for volunteer regional talent (musicians, singers or dancers) for extra band slots or leading a dancing, singing or other workshop – so reach out to us to be considered?
New to Stellar and want to know what the weekend is like? Take a peak at the 2026 schedule below. We’ll be offering the same general format for 2027 – with our one dance room holding morning contra, english country and other dance workshops; with jams and other sessions held in another building; then either a contra or english country dance right after our dinner in our main hall. And always evening contra dances (and late late night, maybe a techno contra or other lively dance, or folks gathering for Fireside jam).
You’ll be as busy as you like with music and dance workshops, lessons and jams. Choose the dance floor or play the instruments you bring. Strike up a Singing session! Band members and callers will be leading workshops and jams. Private music lessons may be available upon request.
For Musicians & Singers
Even if you don’t dance, you’ll love what the music end of this weekend has to offer…It’s 4 days and 3 nights of playing, learning, sharing, jamming, eating, sleeping, star gazing.
Jams will be lead by our fine Talent. Singers will let their voices flow during Sing-alongs and song sessions. Private or small group lessons may be available upon request.
We offer “Stellar Share” – dedicated space where anyone can start a session — fantastic for fostering creativity, building confidence to those developing skills, and connecting with like-minded performers and dance enthusiasts! Plus we have an Open Mic session—featuring Open Band and Callers sharing their skills and inspiring dancers to join in the fun!
For all, there are comfy chairs to snuggle into, a roaring fireplace to gaze into, interesting people to chat with, and of course yummy food and sleep. You’ve never seen so many stars as here on a crisp, clear night.
